Comission a watercolour by R.V.Barrett
I am currently accepting consignments of residences, landscapes, and businesses. Would you like a watercolor of your home or business, custom made for you? Maybe you have a picture of your vacation home, or the view out the window that you would like me to interpret in transparent watercolors. Can you picture the view up at your office, in that big glass building, with the sun glistening off the windows, and a sun burst right off your office window. I can paint that just for you. How would that art look on the wall of your office on the 24th floor. The entire process takes about 40 days, and you can consign a watercolor by R V Barrett starting at only a few hundred dollars.
If you are local to the Los Angeles area, we should meet so you can view some sample original artwork. After we have selected a photograph of yours, and a general direction for the work to take, I will begin drawing and painting some explorations of your project. In two to four weeks I will have some work for you to look at, give your input, and, with your approval, I will begin your actual watercolour painting on high quality watercolor paper. Two to four weeks after that, the final product should be ready for delivery.
Non-refundable partial payment is required to begin any work, but you do retain refusal rights if the final product is not to your liking. I am usually more than willing to work with unsatisfied customers and achieve an amicable solution in most every situation. But, I to, retain the right to ternimate a project, and retain any partial payments received, if it seems that the artist-client relationship is not progressing. In cases where the project is ternimated by the artist, a single original version of existing rejected originals will be available for purchase.
Finished product is a watercolor on paper that is very susceptible to water damage, so handle with great care. Professional mounting, double acid-free matting, and framing is recommended as soon as you receive your painting. Be sure to use all acid-free materials in framing to avoid discoloration of the paper over time. Also remember to display your custom made watercolor painting out of direct sunlight. It is a one of a kind work of art, please treat it as such.
